WHAT TO DO ABOUT IRAQ

Note to reader:  This article is about what we (the USA) should do about Iraq GIVEN THE PRESENT STATE OF AFFAIRS.  It is NOT about what we SHOULD HAVE done about Iraq to begin with.  YOU CAN’T CHANGE THE PAST.

First, every country needs a law enforcer.  Without law enforcement, criminals and quasicriminals will seek to impose their evil will on society.  This principle has been demonstrated throughout history and is documented well beyond the point of disputation (opposition).  This being the case, we MUST stay in Iraq until there is a law enforcer that can take our place.

Now, some will argue that it is NOT our responsibility because it is NOT our country.  This argument would be true if it were not for one thing:

WE removed Iraq’s law enforcer.

This act MADE US IRAQ’S LAW ENFORCER.  To be more precise, this act:

MADE IT OUR RESPONSIBILITY BEFORE GOD AND THE WORLD TO BE IRAQ’S LAW ENFORCER.

Now, of course, our responsibility MUST eventually end.  This, therefore, leads us to the key question with which we must deal today:

When MUST we get out of Iraq?

This question has an answer:

We MUST get out of Iraq when Iraq has another LAW ENFORCER.

Currently, our goal is to help create this new law enforcer.  This new law enforcer is:

The new government of Iraq, which includes the police and soldiers of Iraq

This, therefore, leads us to the real question with which we must deal today:

When will the new government of Iraq exist?

The new government of Iraq will exist when:

The government of Iraq is stronger than the criminals and quasicriminals.

This leads to the next real question:

When will the government of Iraq be stronger than the criminals and quasicriminals?

We must answer another question before we can answer this question.  This other question is:

How do you measure the strength of a government?

The answer is:

The strength of a government is equal to the power of government minus the power of those who oppose government.

Now, there are two factors involved here:

1.      The power of government

From this point on, we will refer to the power of government by the term “G-Force.”

2.      The power of those who oppose government

From this point on, we will refer to the power of those who oppose government by the term “O-Force.”

At this point, you must realize that we need a way of measuring G-Force and O-Force.  Before we address that, note that all that must happen in Iraq is that:

G-Force MUST be 2 times greater than O-Force.

You will no doubt ask where we came up with this formula.  Why not “3 times greater” or “1.5 times greater”?  The answer is:

In order for any form of sociopolitical power to dominate, it must have enough strength to crush KNOWN opposition PLUS enough strength to crush ANTICIPATED opposition PLUS enough strength to crush UNANTICIPATED opposition.

In pure numbers this translates to:

It is not our purpose here to debate the military theory behind the assignment of G-Force and O-Force values.  COME UP WITH WHATEVER MILITARY THEORY YOU WANT.  THE CONCLUSION WILL BE THE SAME.

We will now talk briefly about how to measure G-Force and O-Force.  Here is the key military formula for G-Force:

GXf = Gg + Bg + Eg

In this formula:

GXf = G-Force

Gg = Guns (the number of police and soldiers)

Bg = Bullets (the supply of guns, ammunition, grenades, grenade launchers, etc., etc.)

Eg = Proficiency (how good the police and soldiers are in using their “bullets”)

Similarly, the formula for O-Force is:

OXf = Go + Bo + Eo

Now, what we need in order for the government of Iraq to take over is:

GXf = 2 times OXf (or GXf = 2OXf for short)

This formula is simply the mathematical representation of our statement above.  We repeat it here again for your convenience:

G-Force MUST be 2 times greater than O-Force.

The current estimates of the MCLFN (“Military Commission of the L. F. Nexus”) are that we are currently at:

1.6 Xf (1.6 kubes)

This means the government of Iraq needs about another:

.4 Xf (.4 kube)

before we can leave Iraq.

The estimates of the MCLFN are that it will take 3 more years before the government of Iraq acquires the .4 kube that it needs to become Iraq’s new law enforcer.  However, we estimate that our forces will be reduced by 40% in 1 year and 60% in 2 years.
