SCRUBBED THEATRES OF AMERICA
The Same Movies But The Devil Stays Home!
Be sure to teach your children that what they see on the screen are “images of actors,” not real people. This is so that they don’t become fans of the performers since some of the performers do not live laudable lives.
Scrubbed Theatres of America show only “Scrubbed Movies.” What are Scrubbed Movies? Scrubbed Movies are movies that have had bad content removed from them. They are something like the edited TV versions of Hollywood movies, only better. Bad content includes:
· Profanity
· Verbal Obscenity
· Visual Obscenity (any degree of nudity)
· Gay Content
· Gratuitous Violence (violence that serves no purpose but to excite the viewer)
Sane violence is not removed from Class C movies (see below for an explanation of “Class C.”) An example of sane violence is a father shooting a man trying to kidnap his little boy.
· Gore (extreme damaging of body parts and bodies)
In addition, we will show 2 Scrubbed versions of each movie:
· A Class
Safe for Anyone, including babies and little children.
· C Class
C class movies allow violence that would frighten babies and little children. Safe for anyone with a developed Conscience. This includes:
(1) Mature children
Parents will have to determine whether their children are mature enough for this class of movie.
(2) Teenagers and older
We will be opening Scrubbed Theatres in 2009 in the following cities:
