The Satirical/Serious Mix Version of the L. F. Nexus Website

Clueless Critics Have Criticized The “Mixed Version”

We are scientists first and everything else second.  Note that the three wise men of the Bible were “μαγοι” (magoi), which is ancient Greek for “scientists” (see Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible) and that, as scientists, they were believers in Christ.  Dr. Albert Einstein said:

…science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind…a legitimate conflict between science and religion cannot exist.

– Albert Einstein, “Science, Philosophy and Religion: a Symposium,” 1941

This website does not present our personal, spiritual, moral, and ethical values; we present those values on our original website at http://lfnexus.com/originalwebsite.htm.  Our values are just as important as our scientific thinking.  You might disagree with that last statement.  On this website, you may do so.  On our original website, you may not do so.

The new L. F. Nexus website is being built on a firm, financial footing.  Some of our content will be free.  Other content will require either general or premium membership.

We are an independent entity.  Our views are ours and ours alone.

Our website takes a fair and balanced approach to all questions and issues.  We present all viewpoints.

We are not infallible; therefore, if we are ever mistaken about anything, we want to know.  The purpose of the new L. F. Nexus website is to present pure science, pure truth, and pure fact, no matter whatCivilization cannot endure without a sound foundation in reality.  We make you this promise:

If we are ever mistaken, we will issue a correction.

Our new website, unlike our original website, is assiduous in avoiding obscure satire, irony, exaggeration, caricature, propagandism, sarcasm, parody, and strange zaniness.

The original L. F. Nexus website was a mixture of fact (99% is our current estimate) and nonfact (1% is our current estimate).  Our use of nonfact has not undermined or destroyed anyone’s cherished beliefs.  We have strengthened and continue to strengthen many of those beliefs.

We are keeping the original L. F. Nexus website on-line for historical, documentary, scientific, and other purposes.  You may click the following link to visit the original site:  the original L. F. Nexus website.

On Monday, April 27, 2009 we launched the new L. F. Nexus website.  We began with a very brief  commentary on the subject of Gays.  Note that, unlike the articles on our original website (for which we make no apologies), the articles on our new website are guaranteed to be clinical, scientific, and balanced.

Cordially,

Dr. Hans Zarkoff

My name is not really “Dr. Hans Zarkoff” (borrowed from the “Flash Gordon” character).  One of the pitfalls of informative websites is the distraction of attacks on the authors of such websites.  Therefore, we do not reveal the author of any web page on our new website except when a page is written by a visiting author (indicated by the symbol “V”) and, then, only when requested by the visiting author.

Dr. Bisconti does not believe that a person is smart just because they spend a few years listening to a handful of college professors.  As Dr. Bisconti points out:

The first college professors never went to college.

Dr. Bisconti says:

Genius is measured, above all else, not by knowledge amassed by the intellect but by practical contributions to the advancement of humanity.
