NON-KJVO-KJVXs ARE GOOD CHRISTIANS, TOO
A KJVO is a person who believes exclusively in the King James Bible. We at the L. F. Nexus are KJVXs. We believe inclusively in the King James Bible. That is, we believe in the King James Bible and we believe that you can use other Bibles as long as you make it clear to everyone that the King James Bible is the standard of what constitutes the true Bible and as long as you compare the non-King-James Bibles to the King James Bible to be sure they are correct.
Well, what about non-KJVO-KJVXs; that is, people who are neither KJVOs nor KJVXs? Are they saved? Of course. Can they live righteous lives? Of course. Can they live lives pleasing to the Lord? Of course. Well, then, what’s the big deal? Why all the hoopla about the Modern Bible Versions and the King James Bible? The answer is found in Jude 1:3, which states:
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Those who defend the King James Bible as the standard of what constitutes the true Bible do so because the Lord tells us to “earnestly contend for the faith.” Well, what about those who believe differently? A recent survey of non-KJVO-KJVXs reveals the following:
1. Non-Ks (non-KJVO-KJVXs) usually have been brought up in more liberal households, which is not to say this is a bad thing.
2. Non-Ks usually have given less thought to the whole Bible Version issue than KJVOs and KJVXs, which is not to say that this is always the case.
3. Non-Ks usually regard truth as a little more important than goodness, while the Bible, of course, teaches that they are equally important.
Finally, everyone here at the L. F. Nexus loves every non-K out there. We know that most of you are sincere in your beliefs and love the Lord.
