THE FUZZY THINKING OF THE INSANE DOCTORS IN THE TERRI SCHIAVO CASE
Reviewed By Dr. Leonard Weinstein
WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS GRAPHIC CONTENT THAT MORE SENSITIVE READERS MAY FIND EMOTIONALLY DISTURBING.
The doctors whose testimony is condemning Terri Schiavo to death assert that she is not feeling any pain. The basis of their belief (and note that this is only a belief and not a scientific, medical fact. This fact alone disqualifies these doctors as medical authorities and their opinions as anything more than claptrap [pretentious nonsense].)…the basis of their belief is that she gives no SIGNS of feeling anything. Now, these doctors are either grossly undereducated or complete idiots or both. Why? SIGNS do not tell you whether a person is feeling anything. How do we know this to be the case? There are two reasons why we know this is true. First, the Bible teaches that human feeling is not always outwardly expressed. Second, AND THIS IS THE MORE PERSUASIVE ARGUMENT FOR MANY PEOPLE:
There have been thousands of documented cases of people showing NO SIGNS OF FEELING and YET FEELING EVERYTHING.
One of these cases was that of a lady who appeared on CNN’s “Larry King Live” show this past week. This lady described screaming in her soul and yet her body remained motionless. There have been other publicized cases where surgical patients have been in surgery, given paralyzing drugs, BUT NOT GIVEN ANESTHETICS, which produce temporary absence of sensation. These patients describe FEELING EVERY CUT OF THE KNIFE DURING THEIR SURGERY AND CRYING, SCREAMING, AND HOWLING WITHIN THEMSELVES BUT BEING UNABLE TO USE THEIR VOCAL CORDS OR ANY OTHER PART OF THEIR BODY. Now, if the doctors I am referring to are not idiots, then they need to go back to medical school and, if their medical schools teach this INSANE NONSENSE that “no sign equals no feeling,” than their medical schools are staffed with UNEDUCATED teachers of medicine, in which case their schools should be shut down and their medical licenses permanently revoked.
Footnote: It is interesting to note how belief in a theory underlying the theory of evolution plays a part in the medical conclusions of the doctors in the Terri Schiavo case.
