KEEPING IT SIMPLE> All developmental psychologists agree that, actually or in effect, all human knowledge and belief is built on BELIEF.

EXTRACOGNITIVE DEPENDENCE> Extracognitive dependence means all belief and knowledge is DEPENDENT on the extracognitive (nonintellective).

FIRST PRINCIPLES> It is clear from the nature of cognitive foundations that all belief and knowledge is extracognitively dependent.

NONRELIGIOUS FAITH> The word “nonreligious” simply indicates we are talking about faith in the abstract, apart from any particular object.

THE FIDEISTIC MODEL> The THEORETICAL model that perfectly fits the Mediatorship Theorem is UAF (Unconscious Automatic [nonreligious] Faith).

MEDIATORSHIP THEOREM> All belief and knowledge rests on the logical component of the UMA (univeral mediating agency).

MEDIATING AGENCY> The mediating agency must have both instinctual and logical capabilities.

DIFFERENTIAL CONTINUITY> The transition from cognitive instinct to differentiation is smooth. Thus, we infer existence of mediating agency.

DIFFERENTIATION> Since cognitive instinct is unconscious, differentiation cannot build on it using logic.

TRANSITION> Differentiation builds on cognitive instinct.

COGNITIVE INSTINCT> Before differentiation, cognitive instinct functions as a VBS (Virtual Belief System)

DIFFERENTIATION> In the absence of differentiation, only instinct and environmental restraints keep a child on the “reality path.”

THE FOUNDATION OF THE MIND> Up until a certain age, a human being cannot diferentiate between reality and fantasy, between fact and fiction.

EEM> Actually, VALUES have always trumped SCIENCE and EEM is simply the first SCIENTIFIC formulation of age-old COMMON SENSE!
