This will work with 99.999% of evolutionists.
Ask an evolutionist if anyone has ever witnessed evolution. They will answer “yes.” You, then, say, “That is impossible because, by definition, evolution is not an event but a series of events and the number of these events, by current estimates, is 1023 (10 to the 23rd power). That’s a ‘1’ followed by 23 zeroes. That’s 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. You could read this number as ‘one hundred billion trillion’.” Note that as we get more data there are indications that the actual number is considerably higher than 1023. If you happen to get an evolutionist who answers correctly with “no,” simply say, “Ah, finally, an evolutionist with brains.”
PS: Note that the above establishes that evolutionists argue a circumstantial evidence (not witnessed) case and, statistically, it is 1.3 million times harder to prove a circumstantial evidence case than an empirical evidence (witnessed) case.

From where did you pull those numbers [a portion of text appearing here was edited out by the L. F. Nexus due to its vulgar nature]? A series of events can be – and has been – observed. Richard Lenski and colleagues at Michigan State University have witnessed evolution occurring in the lab, and the paper is available at his website. I recommend reading it.
Ah, another undereducated evolutionist! Note how he equates a single event with evolution. Oh, excuse me, he actually said “a series of events.” However, evolution is NOT supposed to be merely “a series of events.” It is supposed to be “a series of ALL events from the so-called ‘first life-form’ to man.” If the Lenski tale is true, it only proves the occurrence of a “sequence of adaptations,” NOT evolution.
