When should you to listen to a doctor or other medical professional?  If ALL of the following are true.

 

  1. Modesty is maintained.  Read the topic titled “Modesty.”

 

  1. No participation of one or more medical professionals of the opposite gender would be involved if such participation would sacrifice modesty.

 

  1. At least one other medical source agrees with what the doctor or other medical professional has to say.  The more other medical sources the better.

 

  1. What the doctor or other medical professional says makes sense to you.

 

  1. The doctor or other medical professional PROVIDES VITAL INFORMATION but YOU make all decisions.
